Terms of Service

Last updated 9 September 2026. Almost everything on Antics is free and needs no agreement at all. These terms exist mainly for the one thing you can pay for.

Who you are agreeing with

Antics is the website at playantics.com, and in these terms “we” means the people who run it. Using the site means accepting what is below. If you do not, the games all still work; simply do not buy anything.

Using the free site

Every game, wheel, picker and generator here is free, needs no account and comes with no promise that it will be available tomorrow. We may change or withdraw any of it at any time. Nothing here is sold as a service you can build a business on.

A free party room holds 8 people and 5 games in an evening. A room and everything typed into it is deleted automatically about a day after it is opened, so treat none of it as storage.

What an event pass is

A pass raises the ceiling on one room: how many people can be in it, and how many games it can run. It is bought once, it is not a subscription, and it is not timed. The room it opens runs until your party ends. There is no clock in it anywhere.

  • $5: one room, up to 30 players, unlimited games.
  • $15: one room, up to 100 players, unlimited games.

A pass opens one room. It is not a licence to the site, it grants nothing beyond that room, and it does not renew.

The link that opens your room is emailed to you, and anyone holding that link can open the room. Treat it the way you would treat a ticket. Forwarding it gives your pass away, and we cannot tell the two of you apart.

Passes expire six months after purchase if they have never been used. That is a limit on how long we keep the record, not a subscription period.

Refunds

A pass is fully refundable until it opens a room. Ask, and you get your money back, with no reason needed and nothing to argue about.

Once the pass has opened a room, it is not refundable. That is the moment the thing you bought has been delivered in full: the room is running at the capacity you paid for, and there is nothing left to hold back.

If a room fails through our fault, that is different, and it is not a refund question but a broken product. Write to us and we will sort it out.

Cancelling an order, if you are in the UK or the EU

You normally have fourteen days to cancel an online purchase for any reason. That right can be given up when the thing bought is delivered immediately and in full, and by ticking the box at checkout you agree that opening a room is that delivery and that your right to cancel ends at that moment.

Until you open a room, the fourteen days apply exactly as they normally would, which is the same answer the refund section gives above. The two say one thing deliberately.

Paying

Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are shown in US dollars and your bank may add a conversion charge of its own, which is between you and them.

How you may use a room

A room is a shared screen in front of a group of real people, and the rules follow from that. Do not use one to harass anybody, to publish anything unlawful, or to put another person’s private information on a screen they did not agree to be in front of. Do not try to break, overload or reverse the service, and do not resell access to it.

We can close a room that is being used for any of that, and a pass spent on one is not refunded.

Whatever your guests type stays theirs. We claim no ownership of it and do not use it for anything except running the evening it was typed into.

What we do not promise

The site is provided as it is. Parties happen in real time and the internet does not, so we cannot promise a room will be reachable at any given moment, and we do not promise the site is free of faults.

If something goes wrong and it is our fault, what we owe you is capped at what you paid us, which for almost everybody is nothing and for a pass holder is the price of the pass. We are not liable for a party that did not go to plan. Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law, and if you bought as a consumer your legal rights are untouched by this paragraph.

Privacy

What is stored, and for how long, is set out on the privacy page. The short version for a pass: buying one is the only thing on this site that attaches an email address to a payment, and that is so the pass link has somewhere to go.

Changes to these terms

We may revise this page. The date at the top says when it last changed, and the version in force for a purchase is the one that was published on the day you bought.
